Hi, I’m Jeffrey Hewitt. I’m a student at Old Dominion University. Natural parks and conservation have always been a passion of mine, so after my enlistment in the Navy was done, I returned to school to pursue my degree in biology. I also work at The Bunny Hutch and CLIMATES-Rescue as an animal husbandry intern.

In my free time, I enjoy hiking at First Landing State Park, spending time at the beach, and volunteering with local conservation and animal rescue organizations.

After graduation, my goal is to work in the animal husbandry field at a zoo, park, research facility, or rescue. Eventually, I hope to get my master’s degree.
